(English Text of Interview Below)

The Berlin DJ Housemeister is probably the only House Master who does not swing the broom that but rather deals with the rotating disks. From today it is our mixtape, alternating between push sounds and bass-heavy passages. The DJ and label owner now also started his career at BPitch Control label from Ellen Allien. However, this sound of today is not much to hear. Namely, he released his debut album on Boysnoize Records and that’s what you’ll hear. Housemeister just prefers the maximum beats. We have asked him a few questions.

YNTHT: Tell me something about the mix of what you have installed?
House Master: I made a 35 minutes mini mix for you, and have built some hot wheels. Among other things, something new from Feadz, Dave Tarrida and me. My Daft Punk remix. A bit of Modeselektor and Tom Rowlands, which I just really like.

Do you ever at such a mix much about the speed with which you einsteigst if you ever get dressed between the pace or slows down and what will be the first and last track?
Depends, but not really, most of which track I start . The rest is then given by itself

Does it make a big difference for you if you are spinning or live such a mix doing?
Yeah, that’s a big difference. Just play different audience. You have to interact with the partying and dancing people. Home to make a mix that is more boring to me and takes much more time, because you think very long about it. And the feedback of the audience simply missing.

What are you doing when you’re not sitting on mixtapes for us?
I’m sitting in the studio, enjoy the summer, go fishing times, meet with friends or do the graphics for my AYCB label.

Do you play many summer festival gigs?
Nope, not that many this year.

And, you’re more the open air or club type?
I’m definitely more of a club type.

You’ve just released a record on which all tracks are titled after cities. What does this tell us?
That tells you that I have been there and the tracks have each produced in the city. And with only a single device, the OP-1.

You seem these cities are not just relaxing to watch, anyway radiates OP-1 does not just rest from.
Haha, this is probably more like me.

How would a track from you about the area to be in which you were born?
Hmm, good question. I do not know, but I’ll give it a try.
