The first of a new series, BN RWRK 001 sees Boys Noize releasing reworks and edits that most DJ’s keep to themselves – the time-tested secret weapons that helps one to win in the arms race of dancefloor destruction. And this first volume drops two VERY large bombs.

TWR72’s Tunnel from 2010 takes an Occam’s Razor approach to massive energy – a very simple formula of one huge synth rising in pitch over minimal percussion until the point of hysteria.  The timbre of the sound is so big though, so electric, one feels viscerally shocked as if by a live wire.  If you ever feel like you are losing the room during a set, Boys Noize’s rework of “Tunnel” will grab it back with force.  If you already have the room, use caution – there will be a lot of clean-up after from all of the exploded heads.
The b-side, a rework of Bazz’s 1991 “House of Pax” will be a familiar one to Boys Noize fans as it’s a live set staple, finally available to all.  It’s certainly as maddening as the a-side, sharing that feeling of electrocution but this time with a Belgian as fock hoover that will make your hair fall out.  One immediately recognizes the stabs, which sound like touching an electric stove feels, and Boys Noize’s master allows a nearly 30 year old track (multi-band compression wasn’t even invented) to punch at 2019 weight.  Some will argue that it is dangerous to give the public access to such military-grade weaponry, but Boys Noize has always been about power to the people.
